Graça do Araguaia is an independent Christian website that publishes short devotionals, prayers and reflections based on the Bible. Its goal is simple: to help readers pause, read Scripture and bring their daily life before God.
The name joins two words. Graça is the Portuguese word for grace. The Araguaia is a great river of central Brazil. Rivers are a recurring image in Scripture — still waters, rivers of life, waters we pass through — and they remind us that grace keeps flowing.

Graça do Araguaia is not affiliated with, endorsed by or representing any church, diocese, parish, ministry or denomination. The content is devotional in nature and does not replace pastoral care, counseling or the life of a local faith community.
Scripture quotations are taken from the King James Version, which is in the public domain. Reflections and prayers are original texts written for this website. Photographs are illustrative.
